Shiva Dustdar is the Head and Director of the EIB Institute, responsible for bringing the values and mission of the EIB Group to society through non-commercial activities that support its priorities in climate, innovation, and development. With 30 years of experience in the financial industry, having worked in New York, London, and Luxembourg, she joined the EIB in 2003 and has been involved in risk management, loans, investments, and advising innovative companies. Until June 2022, she successfully led the Innovation Finance Advisory Division at the EIB. Shiva has a strong academic background and is an expert in innovation financing, in addition to being a frequent speaker on topics related to sustainable and mission-oriented financing.
