Mar grew up in close contact with her parents' vegetarian restaurant, Paradís. After obtaining her degree in Audiovisual Communication, she worked in television production for 8 years, coordinating projects and teams. Passionate about travel, she explored the restaurant and hospitality sector. In 2011, she decided to leave her career to expand vegetarian cuisine in Barcelona, co-creating the concepts Teresa Carles and Flax & Kale with her family. Since then, she has managed these restaurants and coordinated new openings. Since 2019, she has led the Quality and Sustainability Department at Teresa Carles Flax & Kale, focusing on sustainable development and improving environmental and social impact. The department achieved BCorp certification in December 2019 with 86 points.
