Guillermo Hermida Lazcano is head of sustainability at the private banking unit of Caixabank. He was CIO of Caixabank Asset Management since 2005 to 2019, leading the integration of ESG risk on the investment process.
Prior to that he was Head of European Equities at Santander Asset Management between 1997 and 2005.
He started his professional career in financial markets at BBVA broker in 1990.
Guillermo has a Diplome en Hâutes Etudes Européennes by the college of Europe in Brugges (Belgium) and a Degree in Economics by the University of Santiago de Compostela.
